I have to bring the vehicle to a stop, often times at dangerous locations during the past three days while traveling back home. The entire engine dies, no power, no gas, no power steering, dead. I too am experiencing an issue with my truck, a 2013 Silverado 2500HD Duramax 6.6 Diesel V8 LML engine just shutting off while actively driving. I'm searching online today to learn more about the issue. I ordered the fuse box and it’s been running for the past 4 weeks without any issues. Tapped it again same spot and the light came on and again started and ran fine.

Removed the base of the fuse box to have enough room to move the connectors from the bottom to determine which one had the loose connection and after twisting and pressing on all of them and noticed no change I got desperate and hit the top of the fuse box right next to the starter relay with the back of a screwdriver, 🤣🤣 like I said, I got desperate and frustrated, my son who was in the truck told me the check engine light lit up. After I removed it and reinstalled it, it would crank and run.

Finally it left me stranded and after checking several things I isolated the problem to the fuse box. If it cycles when I turned the key, I knew it was going to crank and started right up and ran without any problems. I noticed that if the check engine light didn’t turn on when I first turned the key, it would not crank. I have a 2007.5 lmm and sometimes it wouldn’t crank. About 5 weeks ago I had a similar problem.
